What is the Pantone Colour of the Year for 2026?

Pantone named "Cloud Dancer," a soft, airy white, as its 2026 Colour of the Year, chosen to represent calm and clarity.

Are dark colours a good idea for exterior walls in Nairobi?

Very dark exterior colours absorb more heat and show dust and fading faster under Kenya's strong sun. Lighter, reflective shades or mid-tone neutrals perform better and stay cleaner longer.

How do I know if a paint colour will look right in my room?

Test a sample patch on your actual wall and view it at different times of day, since natural and artificial light change how a colour appears. Real Coat Paints stores stock sample sizes for this purpose.

Can I mix trend colours with my existing furniture and décor?

Yes. Neutral, trend-forward shades like soft whites and warm greiges work as flexible backdrops for most existing furniture. Accent walls let you try bolder trend colours with lower risk.
